Don't just sit there?! Anytime you are working on a fine motor task, playing a game, or even coloring/drawing. Have your child sit on the floor with their legs in a criss crossed position, work on upper body and neck muscles by laying on their stomach. Or have them kneel or half kneel at the table and work on their core. Tape paper to the wall or door and stand to complete your writing.
